Hey there! I'm Brooke. Owner here at TBB. Beyond the obvious tasks that come with owning a boutique, I am the wife of a handsome and hardworking cattle rancher, mom to a cute little cowboy and the 4th generation on my family's cattle ranch. I was born and raised in the foothills of Eastern Fresno County, where I grew up with a love for ranching.
I graduated with a degree in Ag Business from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo (go Mustangs!) and also manage a territory here in California for an animal health company.
After working in the industry a few years out of college, I quickly developed a strong desire to bridge the gap between producers and consumers. That's when this little dream of mine began. Believe it or not, this all started as a blog (Meet Your Beef) where I chronicled life on our ranch in an effort to show consumers how beef gets to their plate. I spent a few years writing, working with industry members and learning how to better communicate with those outside of agriculture through programs offered by NCBA and California Beef Council. After coining the phrase "Make Mine Beef" in a blog post, I received requests for hats with that phrase on them. Surprisingly, people from all over the US were buying these hats... and from there this boutique was born.
Needless to say, it's gotten a bit bigger since the days of just selling hats. My entrepreneurial and competitive spirit allows me to enjoy most every moment of growing this business and I've met some incredible people along the way who are now lifers in the friend category.
My ultimate goal for this boutique is not just to sell products that help you tell your Ag story but also to build a community around our joint love for this industry; a place where we can share the beauty and the struggle together.
